On June 26, 2010, WCAP was at Kings Beach in Lynn at a Hands Across the Sand event! At noon that day, participants held hands, symbolizing our stance for protecting our shorelines and saying YES to Clean Energy and NO to offshore drilling. Click HERE for the the coverage of the event in the Wakefield Observer.

Board member Sherri Carlson spearheaded the WCAP response to an editorial in the January 4, 2010 edition of the Wakefield Daily Item (editorial not available on the Item website) that was reprinted from an article originally published by the Jacksonville Daily Times on Deceber 30, 2009. If the former link does not work, click HERE for a pdf of the original article.

Click HERE to see the WCAP response to the editorial. And, thank you, Sherri! While most of us helped with critiques and comments, Sherri did 99.99% of the work.
