Wakefield Board of Selectmen voted to appoint an Energy
Conservation Committee at the 9/10/07 meeting. The appointing of the committee is expected to be on the 10/22/07 agenda.

attended the community meeting with Congressman John Tierney at
the Wakefield library on June 23rd. Congressman Tierney was
happy to hear of our new group!
WCAP had many visitors at its booth and hybrid car exhibit at Wakefield's Festival by the Lake on June
16,
2007.
Wakefield, MA named a Tree City USA for the 5th year in a row.
