WCAP is planning to host a Step it Up 2 event in Wakefield on November 3, 2007. Details to follow. SAVE THE DATE!

WCAP members Sherri Carlson, Steve Shoap, and Wendy Dennis attended the community meeting with Congressman John Tierney at the Wakefield library on June 23rd. Congressman Tierney was happy to hear of our new group!

WCAP had many visitors at its booth and hybrid car exhibit at Wakefield's Festival by the Lake on June 16, 2007.

A small but determined group gathered at the gazebo on Wakefield's Lower Common on November 3rd to be part of this picture to be sent to Congress requesting leadership in face of global warming.

Wakefield Climate Action Project member Steve Shoap gave a compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulb presentation for the children at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Wakefield on Sunday April 22nd in honor of Earth Day.

It was a big hit!
